About Anna
Anna is a passionate garden designer and plant person with over 10 years experience caring for and designing gardens, both in Melbourne and now in the Ballarat area, including seven years as head gardener and caretaker of an heritage listed Edna Walling Garden in Bickleigh Vale, Mooroolbark, which opened to the public in 2012 and 2014 as part of the Open Gardens Scheme.
Anna is plants-driven in her design work and seeks to create timeless gardens that are sensitive to their surroundings, bird attracting and low water use. Anna has particular interest in the care and conservation of heritage gardens, the creation of therapeutic and sensory gardens and maximising small garden spaces. Anna is a qualified garden designer and holds a Graduate Certificate in Garden Design from the University of Melbourne (Burnley). To complement her garden design training, and to deepen her existing horticultural skills and knowledge, Anna is currently studying a Masters of Urban Horticulture at the University of Melbourne (Burnley). |
